Oh good. Measles. Remember measles? That charming, body-melting, full-body rash, brain-swelling virus we used to not have?
Well, guess what? It's back, baby! Like a 90s boy band reunion nobody asked for; except this time, it brought friends in high places.
That’s right: Measles cases in the U.S. have hit a 30-year high.1,288 confirmed infections. 38 states. 3 dead. Over 160 hospitalized. Not a “a flare-up.” It’s not “cyclical.” This is full-blown viral regression — brought to you by a government that thinks Facebook comments count as peer-reviewed science.
In 2000, the U.S. declared measles eliminated.
In 2025, we’ve declared facts eliminated.
Because instead of health experts, we put the Rasputin of Respiratory Viruses, the scourge of the Kennedy Compound — in charge of public health.

A man who told Congress he’s not anti-vaccine……right before he fired the CDC’s vaccine panel and replaced them with bloggers, chiropractors, and a guys who claimed to cure measles with pickle juice and Ayn Rand books.
Now America’s bringing Measles back like it’s vintage vinyl, because apparently Natural Selection is tired of waiting. We used to aim for herd immunity. Now we’re chasing herd stupidity.
This is not science. It’s medical arson — and RFK Jr. brought gasoline & matches.
And where’s Trump in all this? The man who once said vaccines cause autism and got to be president anyway? He now oversees a government where getting vaccinated is considered suspicious, but bleeding from one’s eyeballs is “part of the natural immune response.”
This is deliberate sabotage.They murdered the CDC, defunded FEMA, gutted NOAA, fired vaccine experts, and declared war on facts — and now they’re standing in the ashes, shrugging like, “Gee, how’d all these dead kids get here?”
I’m not saying they’re evil plants by Putin or Xi to destroy the infrastructure of the US - I’m asking what the evil plants would do differently?
And let’s be clear: measles isn’t chickenpox. You don’t “get it and get over it.” You get it, you suffer, you spread it to babies, and in some cases, you get really sick & die. The virus is so contagious that if one person coughs, 90% of unvaccinated people in the room will get it. And MAGA says, “Hey, that’s freedom!”
No. That’s domestic biological warfare by weaponized imbeciles.
It’s not a coincidence. This happened because RFK Jr. exists in a reality where “doing your own research” means watching a 3-hour Rogan episode and googling “do vaccines cause man boobs?”
This happened because MAGA says “Screw your experts, my cousin’s TikTok has a theory.”
Look, I didn’t think I’d live long enough to see a deliberate government-backed anti-vaccine movement resurrect a 20th-century plague — but here we are. And not only is it happening, the people who caused it are calling it “normal.”
RFK Jr. said this record outbreak “isn’t unusual.”
You know what wasn’t unusual? Zero measles cases in 2002.
You know what is unusual? Your grandma dying from a toddler’s cough in 2025.
These people are anti-intellectual arsonists, lighting matches in the national park and yelling “Let’s see what natural immunity does with that!”
And WHEN children are dying, they say, “Hey, we didn’t mean it like that.” Yes, you did. You said it with every lie on Fox News, every bullshit tweet, every vaccine conspiracy, every “just asking questions.”
And now measles is answering — and it might resemble chickens coming home to - well, you know.
So congratulations, RFK Jr. In just six months as HHS Secretary, you’ve taken us from eradication to outbreak. Your job is a crime scene.
Trump and RFK didn’t "bring back freedom."They brought back the viral horsemen of the 1800s and said “you’re welcome.”
This isn’t about politics anymore. This is about whether we want to live in a country where dying from measles is “just the price of liberty.”
And when your kid is coughing blood because some political grifter told you measles is “natural,” you’ll realize: viruses don’t care about snake oil.
They care that you didn’t vaccinate.
Maybe Measles should be afraid of catching us.
As a nurse of over 40 years, I’m so disgusted with how our public health system is being mismanaged, to the detriment of all. Ignorance prevails!
